I have to misuse this thread to get rid of my frustration. I have a rose hedge with various sort of plants, about 20 meters long as a boundary to the street. There is regularly a big dog pooping with diarrhea right in the middle. Of course, always when we are not there. Ok, I told myself, you don’t have a fence, it’s not nice, but you are a dog lover yourself. But now I’m really angry – the animal trampled on one rose so badly that it was damaged beyond repair. It was ripped out of the ground, roots and all. I suspect the leash got tangled and then got pulled hard once. The person then put the stump back into the ground so nobody would notice. Of course, the thing was completely dried out and I had to get rid of it. I’m now thinking about putting up some kind of temporary fence so my roses have peace. What should I use best for the front? We really don’t have money for big things right now and it’s about 30 meters in total. Something that doesn’t immediately make viewers want to vomit and just shows this is the boundary. Later it will be removed and a proper fence put up. Do you have any tips for me?

Have you tried using signs?
Here someone simply put up a prohibition sign with a dog pooping on it. It worked.
I would try that.
My aunt had the problem with a two-legged animal, she put up a sign at the pee tree saying [Achtung Überwachungskamera].

The fence will cost four figures in length.

Sharp-edged gravel applied as mulch is supposed to help

A picket fence? Not too expensive and depending on the rose varieties, it can fit well

You mean the sign is being observed? I don't know. The roses clearly aren't a shitty spot either, right?
