Not at all.

My brother and I are also commercial employees and built up and plastered the roller shutter boxes ourselves using drywall construction, independently built the reveals after window replacement with a construction, mesh corner beads, and the like. Brought doors to standard size, closed all slots, knocked out a wall protrusion for a large sliding door, insulated and plastered the roof slope, suspended ceilings on wooden construction, etc.

You just have to dare, be brave, read into it, and just dive in.

That's right. My acquaintance renovated his 140 sqm hut from top to bottom by himself, completely suspended and plastered the ceilings, he was in there every miserable evening, is self-employed, and needed 6 months. Helpers can usually only come on weekends, also want to take a break sometimes, and then we're already 2-3 weeks gone.

We started on 11/9/19, mostly on weekends, sometimes during the week, and every vacation day. We expect to move in in October. And on weekends I always had 2 helpers.

For the bank, it is relevant, among other things, at what level the execution of EL takes place. EL in craftsman quality is assessed differently by the expert in case of doubt than DIY work. And since the house value is of course important to the bank, they do pay attention to that.

Small stuff! The bank has no problems with that either.
For the OP, it's more about all trades completely or at least partially.

I completely agree with . Converted into savings, that is by far not the amount the OP is aiming for!

that didn’t cost 120k and sorry these are "handyman" tasks.

Everyone probably does rough work like this at some point.

Even as a carpenter, I did tons of things alone because you can’t even get someone from eBay for small jobs.
