I am just wondering whether the €290,000 is enough for this not really unchallenging plot of land or project.

How did you come up with the idea to build there? I see a slope on the left, a cliff on the right, and a dilapidated "villa" opposite.

In my defense, my plot is not exactly easy to build on either.

The slope only affects the positioning and the floor plan, it does not have to be built on. There is no precipice on the right; it goes straight ahead; the supposed precipice is probably the driveway? The villa is currently being renovated and is located on the neighboring property, so it does not affect us. Given the current situation, you can hardly choose where to build in a desirable location – we are just happy to have found something affordable within the city area that does not have the character of a battery cage. That was important to us, so there are now some compromises to make. At the moment, we are a bit overwhelmed. I think that we will only come up with a new floor plan and sketch this weekend.

The way it looks for you, you will need quite a bit of money to "clean up" the property. Do you already have a proper driveway to the house for the trucks?

Best regards

Another question: are you allowed to cut down trees? Maybe this way you get more sun on the plot and are a bit more flexible when placing the house.

Everything already calculated. That’s why the house is not allowed to become more expensive. Yes. However, we would at most prune the willows towards the street, since they provide valuable visual and noise protection from the busy road. As mentioned, the house must be placed entirely in the east, and due to the narrow building window there isn’t much variation left.
