In my opinion, the pantry could also be internal and thus the utility room [HAR] could be moved to the exterior wall without this kink. What I still miss are the correct positions of the windows and especially the patio doors. Pathways to the outside are obstructed. What are the dimensions of the space for the staircase now?

Sigh... Command back, unfortunately we have to go back to square one. We were on the property again yesterday and measured everything completely - on the left (west) side of the property there are about 4-5 meters that are not usable because it slopes steeply down towards the street there. In other words: If a double carport is to be placed on the east side (at least 6-7 meters), there should be some space to the house (1-2m), the house itself (10m), and then a terrace (4-5m), we have 21-24 meters width out of 26 meters "usable" width. And that means after inspection on site:
Man sitzt auf der Terrasse ab Mittag komplett im Schatten der Bäume und schaut fast direkt auf die Straße. I also took some photos of this which I can still upload if desired.
That basically doesn’t work, and the house is then much more in the western half of the usable property and casts its shadow over the entire area behind the house and carport, which in this position also covers more than half of the garden. That is not a pleasant thought.

Wir werden also den Carport doch auf die Westseite packen (have to/want to). We are currently working on a new floor plan and are clarifying whether we can place the carport closer to the southern boundary. Then we would have a bit more space & sun on the terrace and in the house. Let’s see.

Maybe you could make a sketch of the building envelope. So the plot + dashed line for the buildable area + the aforementioned trees + north arrow and dimensions.

I had roughly sketched this before, but without measurements (and oriented to the north):

The plot is almost exactly 30x30 meters, although as mentioned the left 4-5 meters are not usable (the trees are also there).

I will upload photos this evening and revise the sketch of the building envelope if it is still too inaccurate.

A Google excerpt does not replace a sketch. Trees do not reveal property boundaries and building envelopes. The private road, which still has to be created, doesn't either.

I will try my hand at a sketch this evening or rather expand the existing sketch from the construction company.

Here are first some photos that might clarify the challenge a bit. I have also inserted a small overview of the viewing angle each time to make it a bit clearer what is being seen. It is around 4:30 PM.

View from the southwestern corner towards the north, here you can see the embankment. The road is supposed to be built on the right, which will initially go steeply upwards.

View on the western side of the property towards the north. If the carport were in the east, it would look like this:

There wouldn’t be much left of the garden then, actually only the northern and eastern sides. The trees on the left are quite tall; probably they would have to be trimmed somehow anyway (they are willows).

For completeness, here is the view towards the south of the old building, in which there are partly apartments and partly still to be built:

If the carport were in the east, the house would end at the dirt mound (cf. previous picture, I am standing on the theoretical terrace).

If the carport were in the west, the house would end at the tree on the left, roughly flush with the projecting edge of the old building.
