For us, it's also a 70m driveway, forget about turning. After a week, you can do it backwards too. We go in backwards and out forwards, all easy

Yes, in an emergency that’s possible, of course. But the exit at the end of the 50 meters isn’t just straight either; it also curves a bit and leads out onto a driveway ... But sure – doable in an emergency.

Thanks for the suggestion. From my point of view, there is about the same amount of paving. And what’s more ... the property is slightly rotated, meaning I get full sun on the south-west terrace from noon at the latest. And somehow I prefer to look left from my terrace onto the garden and carport or garage, so onto my neighbor’s property, where a house might still be built.

I went at it again and drew everything in the 3D tool. The one with the carport in the middle, basically right at the driveway, won’t work and breaks everything up a bit. And the path to the entrance is more complicated, since if it were a south entrance, I’d have to make the carport wider to walk through – and with the north entrance, I have to lay quite a bit of paving/planks again. I made the variant with the carport at the house again without a turning option. I like it the best visually and it has a clear line. Maybe you just have to get used to backing in. Well, you can tell... I’m desperate :) I need a day off.

Yes, I already said that. If you want to turn around, space will be needed for that. It’s just a small plot with an inconvenient location and connection. Huh? Where is “left”? Plan left?

Huh? Where is "left"? Left on the plan?

Yes, left on the plan. So west. Northwest. You can turn it however you want... No, better not, otherwise it suddenly becomes right :)
So left = short side in the west
