Variants for furnishing the all-purpose room

Then read through my old thread! That's exactly what I thought too, but without a floor plan of the OG, the floor plan of the EG was out of the question. It makes sense after all. In a few days I might post everything together again.

At our place, these events mostly take place in the cozy conservatory. You stay there, but not on the couch. Maybe over time this has become established with us. Somehow the couch + TV area is private, used only by us.

The island will be 3.00 to 3.30m long. Let's see what the kitchen studios propose next week. I don't want guests on the couch. The couch is somehow private for us. I would never invite someone to watch TV together on the couch, for example. That's why there is the dining area for 6 people or as a complement the conservatory to sit with several people.

Well, then that's a clear and helpful preference! I would then see the living room area merely as a TV area that needs less light and should also be optimally aligned to TV usage regarding distance, seating options, etc. The conservatory is the actual living room; then a small "TV area" could be an idea, maybe separated by a half-high piece of furniture (that's how I have it here) or maybe even a partial wall, fitting the TV behavior. Conservatory (heated?) = living room and everything is different and brings many new possibilities, I could come to terms with that idea.
