Conservatory integrated into living space:
Advantage: saves space since there are not two dining areas
Disadvantage: conservatory is not a separate room, no retreat anymore, sitting together at a huge conservatory table for two can feel lost, exit from multipurpose room to garden is through the conservatory

Conservatory attached to living space:
Advantage: like a separate room, can also be a retreat
Disadvantage: more space required, since dining area is basically doubled.

I still tried to sketch it quite casually.
Another advantage: room can lose a meter in depth without loss of quality.

It’s certainly not perfect yet but feels a thousand times more exciting!

Somehow a few bar stools would definitely fit there now, so I already think it’s much better like this.

Don't let yourself get confused. Children need a lot of love, attention, and interest in the things they do and are involved in. They adapt extremely well to circumstances and learn very quickly to deal with dangers if you let them have experiences and give them space. With dogs, they say the problem is often at the other end of the leash. It is almost always the parents' stress that infects the children. Is my child safe? Am I doing everything right? How do we compare? I can’t just put my phone aside... – if you talk to parents, you will realize that what they say about children says much more about them than about the children.

The passage into the room could be annoying in the long run if the kitchen unit is parallel to the table. That is a bottleneck. I think putting the table in the conservatory is great.

this can be solved with lightweight furniture, among other things, and also changed/adjusted again depending on need; for this reason, we love such furniture we also often just sit together at the counter and look outside while eating. We have a large dining table, which we rarely use just the two of us, so we are now planning the docked version ...or quite the opposite, dignified! That might be unusual at first, but you quickly get used to it; the other way around would be more difficult. Maybe you have answers in your head like "you don’t do that" or "I wouldn’t like that" :D. It is extremely hard to develop your own feeling for it; I’m usually rather bold about that. that could be solved afterwards... something could definitely be found. The TV area doesn’t have to remain as it is exactly what I see, which takes the necessary space elsewhere from you. My "dining area in the winter garden"... what shouldn’t be great about that? We had a plan where the sofa stands centrally in the open area, and only after that the dining room. Hardly anyone would do that, but for the two of us and our habits that would have been okay.

Thank you very much for your reassuring words regarding children, dealing with them, and one's own habits. As I said: asking questions and selecting is probably the right thing. In the end, you have to find your own way to live together with your child. For example, we plan our parents' area downstairs, kids' area upstairs. Guess what kind of opinions we hear about that. From: why do you want kids if you don't sleep on the same level with them? To: best idea ever, especially when they are three or older, it works wonderfully. In the end: we shall see! :-)

If I turn the kitchen block back by 90 degrees, I either have to shorten it in length or the open-plan living area must remain the previous size + with WG integration.
