Could you maybe upload the property here again? What is coming in the north? Also neighbors after 3 meters? Is a bay window possible? It would better structure the open space...

Place the couch in front of the window, done. That doesn’t bother at all. You will only be able to decide such details for yourself: with personal preferences, no one here can help you. The main concern that something might be too tight, I can definitely take away from you in all variants.
