I have marked the maximum possible length. Now I have marked 4m of walking length on each floor. That should be enough.
A bit complex in the pictures, as the staircase from the basement turns again at the top. All other staircases only turn 1.5 times at the bottom.
All 3 staircases start the same way. With a slight shift, on the upper floor there is no wall between the corridor and the stairwell. This lets more light fall on the staircase, as there is no skylight above it. Of course, a handrail and railing must be installed. Currently, I still thought that the stairwell or corridor could become 10cm narrower due to the removal of the wall. The staircase therefore also starts 10cm further back, as it does not run around the wall. But probably the corridor still needs another 10cm from the bathroom and bedroom.
I have marked the stairs as walls. White with crosses is the staircase leading into the floor and black with crosses is the one starting on the floor. I have also written the measurements. The inner edge between white and black runs exactly along the middle of the stairs.

You can't start a staircase where the wall on the right is only 30 or 40 cm away:

No. It is turned further to the corner. So 1.5 times or 135 degrees

I’m just saying ... this won’t work. That’s a 1/4 turn staircase coming from the right, isn’t it? 200 cm rough dimension for the stairwell with hallway is also tight. The hallway definitely needs a railing as fall protection towards the stair opening.

We are still waiting for the new plan from the architect. In the meantime, I have finally managed to draw my ideas for the staircase. The following values were used: Stair height Basement-ground floor and ground floor-upper floor each 2.75 (this was used by the architect in his plan) Upper floor-attic 262.5 (here the clear rough construction height is 12.5 cm lower than in the basement and ground floor) I based it on a staircase with a tread length of ~29 cm and a riser height of 17 cm. The result is now Basement-GF 28.6/17.2 and GF-UF 28.4/17.2 (each 16 steps) and UF-attic 28.4/17.5 This is within the range of all guidelines I found. It comes very close to an ideal. The incline is not much over 30°. However, the solution is naturally a custom one. I have no knowledge about feasibility and costs and would appreciate feedback. No handrail is planned and a step width of 100 cm The dimensions for the stairwell are without exterior walls: basement-GF 217.5*332.5 and GF-UF-attic 217.5*350. The hallway is also 100 cm wide (all just rough construction dimensions - should the plaster be included? Then the step width and hallway would be about 96/97 cm) and the stairwell wall serves as fall protection. I tried to balance the spiral. Explanation: Basement-GF: Blue + Brown (the transition between Blue and Brown still needs to be better balanced.) GF-UF: Blue (without the lowest step) + Green UF-attic: Blue (without the lowest two steps) + Green The ceiling opening corresponds approximately to the floor area of the stairs without the lowest step.

With the half-spiral you can manage quite well with a width and depth of 2.20m as a guideline. I would not go below that width. Plaster, stringer, and handrail will also take up space later on. You can choose the ceiling heights according to your wishes. It’s best to look up, measure, and consider what suits you. For compact houses and rooms, I usually assume a ceiling height of 2.60m. I then add a flat 30cm for the ceiling + floor. That would be a floor height of about 2.90m. In the attic, it can be a few centimeters less. Before the staircase and at the staircase exit, there should be at least about 1.20m of space. So in my opinion, the door to the WC on the ground floor must open into the hallway. Wardrobe cabinets have a depth of about 45 to 50cm. With children, many like to have a normal wardrobe with a depth of 60cm – but that probably won’t fit here. For me, it would look something like this, though for laziness I always leave out the basement if it’s not living space and uncomplicated (staircase no landing, external dimensions 9x9): All dimensions are minimum limits. With plaster, you really have to take that into account. Do you want to live like that? The layout would be somewhat more relaxed at 9x10m. I would think about that again. But it remains a tower and a feeling like in a terraced house with many stairs. The upper floors are just an example. I only wanted to stack the bathrooms so that the wastewater pipes are easier to manage. Children together – parents more for themselves. But it also works the way you have it.
