now I'm curious where you come from :) originally from RLP North as well. But currently living in KO.

hmm only if you make the garage with the driveway at a 90 degree angle to the street, I would definitely want 6m in front of the garage so you can also stand with the car in front of the garage without being half on the narrow street. But due to this strange layout of the property, you always end up moving further back into the property... It's all not so optimal. The best idea really is to go to the building authority so they can show you in advance, before any planning, exactly how the building envelope is on the property.

But honestly, by now we're so fed up that we have no problem selling all this crap again if it somehow doesn't work out properly. And then thinking of something else again... Phew

And we need to reconsider the window of the neighbor. I wouldn't have a problem with it. But there definitely has to be something done so that our cats cannot enter his house through his window. We only want to let the cats into the garden. With appropriate security including a 2m high fence and climbing protection

So Segendorf, Rodenbach (Rockenfeld is no longer possible, *LOL*) or something exactly one of these, then again not?

If it’s from Mendig, I even find their products pretty good – unfortunately not all the representatives ;-).

You can just look under "Information" in my profile. "48" is no longer correct, because for the forum you charmingly always stay as young as the day of registration here, but the email address is correct ;-)

yes exactly. Or one of the other villages. Niederbieber would have been my favorite because of its proximity to the federal road, but unfortunately we were never lucky there... Now it's just Segendorf :) we find the property itself quite nice, also the location in the dead-end street on the hill, we have friends there within 300m as the crow flies... It just needs someone to plan and build properly. I already have the floor plan and such in mind again. With this company (no, not from Mendig... logo with a lot of green and with a show house among other things in Mülh. K.) I also specified the floor plan. Unfortunately, the planner (and he should have known, since he also sold us the property!) only provided a rough site plan and it looked good there as well. If only the property were level and had no boundary development......

I don't know what you think is visible in your profile and maybe you see different/fewer things on your phone, but I can still only make out "northern RLP". :D

... that connects the A3 with the A61? Oh, the one named like the female form of the first name of two chancellors... I think similarly about the representatives but am less enthusiastic about the products.

That also depends on the citizen-friendliness of the staff. Corona provides yet another excuse to refuse a consultation. In a municipality that prides itself on being close to its citizens, however, this should be possible. For a legally binding statement, that is true. Not quite. Due to Corona, simply going there in person is probably ruled out, but even aside from that, it is always helpful to make an appointment. And the authority is also not responsible for design proposals. You have to ask very specific questions. But you have already done that here. So at least print out all the photos, maps, and plans you have shown us here and take them with you to the appointment. I would have difficulty with that, especially with someone who decorates his facade with a stag head, yet I still recommend contacting father and daughter.
