one regarding the storage. The BYD (Build your dreams) LVS is good, also acceptable in terms of price. However, likely lead times are beyond good and evil. Unfortunately, I did not get my desired storage BYD HVS. There are many "opponents" of storage here, especially if the price per kWh is over 500€ net. I am now pro-storage if the price is acceptable (max. 650€ net per kWh). The size must of course also fit, I consider 8kWh to be appropriate. If the budget is tight, better put more kWp on the roof than into storage. Otherwise, both pay off by themselves!

Thanks for the hint. I am also debating whether storage makes sense. We will install a sauna with a 9 kW stove. Especially for something like that, storage makes sense, right? If you then go to sauna in the evening after work – run the stove for an hour – then you can in a way "sauna for free" in the evening with the sun of the day...

No, forget that. The power from the battery is for 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the evening until morning. Just for the time when nothing is coming from above. If you empty the storage with a sauna stove (which usually runs for at least 1 hour!), you have to draw from the grid for the house.

That's actually six of one, half a dozen of the other, isn't it? Example calculation: I need 10 kW for the sauna from 6 PM in the evening until morning and another 10 kW for the house. Whether 10 kW for the sauna come from the storage and then another 10 kW for the house from the grid, or vice versa - it costs the same, right?
