Good morning,
yesterday we received an offer for a photovoltaic system. Our single-family house construction starts in October 2023 and is expected to be ready for occupancy in September 2024.
We have about 3000 kWh annual consumption for us as a household plus an as yet unknown consumption for the air-water heat pump (Weishaupt Biblock).
We have a roof with exact southern orientation at 25° pitch (gable roof). According to the calculation from the offer, the south roof is completely covered with modules (20 pieces) and the north roof is also equipped with 5 modules.
Attached you will find the details of the offer. The price is €20,900 net with storage and without storage it would cost €15,900 net.
What do you think of the offer? If I understand the discussions here in the forum correctly, the storage should be left out. That would bring it down to just under €16,000 and thus a bit over €1,600 / kWp. That is relatively expensive, right?

We are paying €16,500 for the G8 including power optimizers, completely black and installation, connection and a free check-up after one year. The size is 13.26 kWp. However, the offer and acceptance date back to last year.

If the performance "optimizers" are not already installed, leave them out! Inverters with shadow management are cheaper and better.
