Photovoltaic system offer for our single-family house

I will talk to my general contractor (GU) about it tomorrow, he handles everything (except the photovoltaics). I'm curious what he will say... By the way, we don't need to plan any windows. For cost reasons, we didn't include any windows in the roof of our new build. And no satellite dish either. And no chimney (air-water heat pump, no fireplace). So really two completely free spaces to plan - actually optimal for the purpose of photovoltaics...

You could take black modules with black frames. That's what we did. They also blend in very well with an anthracite-colored roof.

Another question in this context: the snow guard must be designed correspondingly higher if you have a photovoltaic system, I assume? Otherwise, the snow would slide down over the modules and then (if the guard is directly adjacent) simply avalanche-like fall over the guard into the garden... I need to talk to my GU about whether they can just enlarge the guards.

With 14.4kWp and a 10kW inverter, the system is inevitably throttled down to below 70%. Therefore, in my opinion, you can save the almost 1000€ for the Sunny Home Manager?! Depending on the orientation, one could also consider a slightly larger inverter.

Stupid question. Why is it then throttled? I always thought the surplus is simply fed into the grid.
