If it remains at 27 modules, I would cross-string. 14 S + 14 N in parallel to one input. And then the same again with 13. However, there should be no shading caused by a moving shadow (chimney or the like) on any of the sides. Normal shading early in the morning or in the evening is not a problem.

More (and probably better) tips can be found at another place, which I am not allowed to mention here.

Ok, good idea with the cross-stringing. There really should be no shading at all. So from our roof, there will be no shading because there is no chimney. The only question is how much shadow (especially in winter) the house above us casts (on a slope). I can't currently judge that at all because it is a new development area and our house is not built yet...

The shadow from another house is then so extensive that the type of stringing is pretty much irrelevant. Only chimneys, bay windows, dormers, and things like that should be avoided with poly-strings, as partial shadows also pull down the opposite side.

Question to the group: I intend to install a photovoltaic system on the flat roof of the garage in the future. At the moment, we are doing paving work in the front yard. I just want to prepare the conduit(s) right away. Which and how many cables go from the photovoltaic system to the technical room? Does the number of cables differ depending on whether there is a storage system or not? Or if, in addition to the flat roof of the garage, the main roof of the house is also used for photovoltaic? Thanks in advance!!!

Once again quite far from the topic, but for a photovoltaic string you normally need two 6mm² photovoltaic cables and one earth.

Best not only to install empty conduits but also equip them immediately with the cables; depending on diameter, radii, and number of corners, it sometimes becomes difficult and it would be a pity if it did not work. If necessary, if the cable is not optimal, the cabling can also be used as a pull wire :)
