I would like to have one IF it were economically worthwhile. I just don’t see that. And your "argumentation" confirms that. But I respect your attitude towards photovoltaics. I also have expensive hobbies that consume a lot of money and therefore cannot be understood by everyone. In that sense, have fun and best regards

Posting 24 contains an official transcript. The query is mentioned. Everything can be accessed on the German Bundestag's website.

Furthermore, there is a result paper from the coalition parties' negotiation on the climate package from September, in which the removal of the cap is explicitly mentioned.

The reasons in favor of photovoltaics are mentioned multiple times in this forum, including in this thread. Why do you ask questions that have long been answered again? Should the thread be recited now?

I am not here to convince anyone in any way, but your statements are just as generalizing as those of the Photovoltaic lobby.

The photovoltaic system is the only thing on the house that actually pays off, and when the 2nd-3rd electricity bill comes, some already consider whether a photovoltaic system makes sense. My basic supply now wanted 31 cents per kW. At these prices, not only does switching make sense, but also a photovoltaic system, especially if you have an electric car.

You either did not read or did not understand the fire hazard, so I will write something more concrete now: With the Autarq solar tile system, which I have on the roof, there is no fire hazard and no problems with extinguishing, as the voltage on the roof remains below 120V (low voltage range). You do not even need an electrician on the roof.

Everyone can calculate the payback period themselves. We decided on an expensive system that only pays off after a longer time. The reason is simple: we just did not want to see (from our point of view) ugly panels on the roof of our house. Those who see photovoltaics purely as a financial product will always find alternatives and lament the times of high feed-in tariffs.

In the end, we simply wanted a beautiful house, ecologically sensible built, with high value retention, low ongoing operating costs, and a certain degree of self-sufficiency. That’s where we live now. Goal achieved.

don't be mad at me, but from your statements it's clear that you have no clue about photovoltaic systems and have never dealt with them in depth.

A photovoltaic system doesn't make sense in every case. It depends on several factors. But on most standard roofs, it's almost impossible for a photovoltaic system not to generate a profit.

I had one installed on my roof in December. And yes, what can I say. Projected profit about 17,000 euros after 20 years and that without me investing a single euro. So completely financed.
Okay, not everyone can put such a good (and large) system on their roof, but still, it's hardly possible not to make a profit with it.

And no, this profit forecast does not come from the solar installers. Their forecasts were well above that. I threw all of those away and calculated it myself. Namely with all costs, expenses, taxes (VAT + income tax with my personal tax rate), interest, reserves, etc.

The fire risk is not higher from the system than from other electrical devices. And it is insured in case something really happens. Many systems are maintenance-free (like mine, for example) and some hardly need any maintenance.

No one forces you to install a photovoltaic system on your roof, but please stop hindering the energy transition by spouting such baseless statements.

Regards Specki
