But you have already read post 24, haven't you?

You can officially find information about the status of the ongoing legislative process on the internet.

Yes, it should not be a "come-on" but rather, as written, the question about the source. So far, I have found nothing anywhere that confirms that the lid will fall with the [Naturschutzgesetz]. One can read a lot but nothing conclusive. In Post 24, it also only says "well, somehow it will be resolved."

Do I see this correctly?

- High initial costs (definitely do not amortize within 10 years)
- Uncertain political developments regarding taxes/levies
- Significantly increased fire risk and/or firefighting issues compared to the fire department
- Performance of the system decreases over the years
- Maintenance costs

Ergo: All in all, it doesn’t really make sense.

Correct? Or did I misunderstand something?

No.

A photovoltaic system (without storage) pays off depending on self-consumption in about 10 years and as long as it is installed cheaply. There is political uncertainty regarding the remuneration. Photovoltaic systems are no more fire hazardous than a toaster. They are extinguished by the fire department with water, just like everything else. The loss of performance is minimal and only occurs after many years. What maintenance costs? Sure, something can break down, as can your washing machine. You can clean it and check the cables yourself.

Ah ok.

Although, who can install it cheaply? The current normal craftsman price. That is just high at the moment.

The fact that photovoltaic systems need to be considered separately in terms of fire safety has been confirmed by the fire department dozens of times. Just look up fire department statements about it on YouTube. They are also plausible.

So there is a loss of performance. Ok. You just have to plan for it in the long term.

Of course, if you are an electrician or electrically inclined, you can repair everything yourself. But the average housewife or lawyer probably won’t mess around with it themselves. So you should keep maintenance costs in mind. That’s okay. After all, you also plan a small monthly reserve for the washing machine.

In other words, it pays off in about 12-15 years? Then consider the loss of performance... replacement, etc., etc...

Hm

For me, it’s currently uninteresting.

But I am open to further opinions. Maybe one or the other argument will still convince me.
