Do you already have personal contacts on site each? For me, the offers have become significantly better because of this, also to cleverly explore, for example, the lending limits etc. The requests via email and form were all not that great.

Yes, we have personal contacts everywhere. The one from Interhyp was very nice (and seemed competent) - I contacted her again immediately.
At Dr. Klein, we had a not-so-good advisor. I made another request there and am now assigned a (new) advisor in my region.

Do you think it makes sense to approach HVB directly again?

If nothing is currently moving in the "interest rate market," the new offers will be the same, except for the updated date. At some point, "the button has to be pressed." The AG are usually only valid for a few days anyway.

So what worked very well for us at least: Print out the best offer from the broker and take it to the second appointment at the house bank. It probably won’t work with every bank, but with us the interest rate was then undercut once again by the house bank. Last appointment before signing, then the same game again.

This usually only works if the offer from the broker is "bad," because the main banks have to finance their "glass palaces."

So far, every offer from the intermediaries has been much worse than through direct contact with the banks.

Our large inquiry round is, as mentioned, a few months old. In that, Commerzbank was by far the best offer. I simply transferred this ratio to the new market conditions. Whether CB is still the best will be revealed this week. I have now started the large inquiry round again.
