This is Weitzer parquet "WP Quadra", "Oak Ice", grading "wild", color range "stone".

Some heat also comes through the glass of our stove, but most goes through the long flue system into the ton-heavy storage. The insert is from Ortner. A burn control regulates the air supply. We burn between 7 and 13 kg of good firewood and use it to heat our one-room living area of about 90 sqm on 2 levels and up to nearly 7m ceiling height for over 24 hours even in sharp subzero temperatures.

With the combination of a modern insulated house and a heavy masonry stove, we now have 2 winters of experience and are extremely satisfied - both regarding the type of heat as well as the energy consumption. This does not necessarily mean that others would be satisfied with it, as the furnishings also play a role in the use of the masonry stove as well as the intelligent positioning. If the room is fully furnished, the radiant heat may not be able to warm the opposite wall. Having a window opposite the stove is also not very sensible - the radiant heat simply escapes. Unfortunately off-topic, it also seems to me that masonry stoves are experiencing a renaissance due to the high building efficiency. We also built a KfW40+ about 250m2 and also a masonry stove weighing about 1.5t in the open kitchen/living/dining area. Expensive fun, but also so worth the money. Very pleasant constant heat output, without drying out the air or overheating rooms.
