We consulted with Interhyp back then. Since we bought quite spontaneously and needed financing confirmation very quickly, we had already requested something like that directly from the house bank (Ing-Diba) in parallel, but for comparison we also involved Interhyp. They couldn't find us a better offer than Ing-Diba either. Exactly the same conditions. Nevertheless, the lady from Interhyp was very competent and we would have then let her mediate the contract.

I have had very good experiences and not so good experiences with various loan brokers. In any case, I would never rely solely on the advice of a bank (whether it is a house bank or not).

Actually, our agent will do the same to prevent any bored people from walking through our place. Waste of time and annoying. After all, we still live here. He says he wants some kind of proof. Even if it’s a bank statement showing that you can seriously pay.

So we went to Interhyp (Dr. Klein was not nearby) and presented the offer from my house bank. They either couldn’t or didn’t want to match it.

Would do it the same way again. Extremely uncomplicated and super fast. Well informed, transparent, always reachable, very good result.

At the end of the day, all intermediaries and advisors use the same database where all banks offer. What comes out is compared with the house bank.

One often reads from experiences that no better but also no worse conditions are given.

The advantages for the banks are "marketing," meaning to be seen by the customer instead of the customer only inquiring at their one main bank, and also generally a smoother process, since good intermediaries prepare the customer documents directly specific to the bank, allowing them to process these without inquiries, without missing documents, without consulting services at the customer’s location (personnel costs), etc. (Source: friendly credit intermediary).

I thank you all for the helpful answers. I think I have gained a good impression of how I will proceed when something comes up with us soon.
