There is not much to understand. Others have different details and prerequisites and simply fit better or worse into the providers' strategies or commission regulations. We also borrowed cheap money. With the broker, I got a live insight into the commissions and comparison tables. We played around with the parameters together and looked at the bid changes. Two comparable providers remained, I chose the one with the better commission for the broker. It was quickly done over a nice coffee. Yes, taking action has its merits.

Are you serious??? But I wouldn't be surprised if that worked on someone. But I would never dare to do that.

I'm not sure if we mean the same thing. If someone received a better offer from Dr. Klein for, for example, Sparkasse than through a direct inquiry at Sparkasse, then I would expect that to happen to everyone.

If you believe that the conditions in an institution have exactly one calculation basis, then you are mistaken. There are different sales channels, which are usually managed independently in separate departments. Therefore, not everyone accesses the same conditions or is granted the same scope of action. It’s like with insurance companies; you can often conclude a contract through an agency (first sales channel), through a broker (second sales channel), through a bank (third sales channel), or via the internet. But don’t think that you will always get the same conditions with identical contract components.
