Good morning dear ones, :)
after all the feedback yesterday, we sat down again yesterday and discussed your suggestions.
- we will definitely move the heating to the attic, but we are not yet quite sure whether we will use the gable as a hallway and thus for me as a reading corner or plan a small room there.
What are your experiences with the individual room sizes and possibilities for placing furniture? Could it still get tight somewhere there?
Thank you very much for your help! :)

I find the possible arrangements to be very good. You might still consider whether to make a small storage room under the stairs. Then you would have nice spots on the wall in the hallway for a dresser without bumping your head. I wouldn’t place the kitchen island like that either, as it could get tight around the island on all three sides if more than one person is in the kitchen. I would rotate it 90 degrees so that when cooking you face the dining room door and attach it to the right wall. Then place the counter in front. I also find the access to the bedroom awkward. Whoever sleeps on the right side of the bed has to walk around the door awkwardly or even close it to get into bed. I would straighten all the walls; you don’t even have to move a wall, just make them all straight, and then it will fit. And if you move the wall of the small storage room a bit further back, you can also move the door of the children’s room a bit further back, so that you still have a spot behind the door. But overall, I find the floor plan very successful.

With the planning "Heizung in den Dachboden" one must also consider how the heating system gets up there and how it can also be replaced there in case of exchange in 15 or 20 years.

That applies regardless of where you place the heating ...

Just briefly: One main point of criticism is the integration of the access to the garage and the garage itself. On the one hand, dirt accumulates through the access, which, in my opinion, does not fit with the depicted use of laundry washing. Additionally, public and private paths are crossed (since the utility room is the only storage and stowing option on the ground floor). Furthermore, the garage access, which depending on the resident will be the main access (rain, dark seasons, ...), has no good connection to the too small wardrobe, is dark, and causes another dirt problem due to crossing the path from the private area of the ground floor to the stairs. Classic guest toilet, cute. The living room is introverted, and even with different furniture positioning, the garage limits the feeling of spaciousness. Please include the kitchen in the planning early. The attic feels cramped. WD

I would not plan another little room in the third gable (a storage room should be enough) I would install a desk surface there (left in the plan) and set up a work corner (laptop, sewing machine...), put an armchair in front of it :) Straightening the angled walls: simply extend the wall from the storage room and plan a normal corner.
