We are allowed to grill on the balcony. There is a kitchen by the terrace, so we will probably not have to carry anything into the garden either.

We do, that is why we are (so far) satisfied. The door in the corner: we will try again and ask both the kitchen studio and the architect. I did not like the first approach of putting the door into the hallway either.

Basically, I have understood that you don't like it, that has been noted. We like the concept of separating the floors, but we have also been told: symmetry is the beauty of simple people. That's just how taste is, and I don't even find that bad.

I have also been tinkering with a sensible design all the time. Given the dimensions, I would probably move away from a pure rectangle.

Can I summarize once again:

- large kitchen
- table for 10 - 12 people
- quiet living area, possibly an extra library
- oven
- living unit for the parents, if possible separated from the rest of the house and also to be used as an office/guest unit ([soll da auch, wenn die Eltern einziehen, eine Küche rein? In den ersten Entwürfen kann ich mich da an nichts erinnern])
- luxurious parent area with wellness
- separated children’s area with its own bathroom

Did I forget anything?

What do you want to use Living Dining on the ground floor for?

Try to integrate the hallway into this room and keep it open. You have an amazing garden that should already be visible from the entrance.

I think this is supposed to be the living unit for the parents who may possibly move in.

According to Ikea, it is 236 cm; is it actually taller? But that wouldn’t even be a problem, since it doesn’t stand directly at the knee wall, but a good distance away. The height in the dressing room increases by about 27 cm per meter of distance from the side wall toward the exit.
