I didn't know that rubber mats, a stand frame, and patio slabs penetrate the sealing.

What have you done to the bowl every year???

Other LNBs, different location, different holder, different satellites... but most of that is not done by the average consumer... it's set once and that's it...

Exactly, I would probably never think of changing the alignment, and once a decent LNB is installed, it will last a few years, just like the dish, unless both together cost 29.90.
The holder in my case was homemade, you could probably hang an elephant on it, at least gusts well over 100 km/h did not cause any signal loss.

My system has a significantly higher wind load compared to usual systems...so the first location was suboptimally chosen, therefore it was installed somewhere else.

The original mount, which I got from the electrician, was also somewhat flimsy, so it was eventually replaced.

Furthermore, my system offers several focal points, so I can, for example, receive Astra in the middle or also on the far right, depending on which other satellites are desired, so it was also turned back and forth here...

And especially with LNBs there are significant differences; you can practically write a doctoral thesis about it...or you need different ones for certain satellites, e.g. KU and C-band.

I can certainly understand that, however, I would claim that this is not true for 99%. Most have a dish under 100cm and orient it towards a satellite. A proper LNB and multiswitch and you have peace for years.
