Kitchen price comparison - Fair or fantasy?

Hello everyone,

since we are currently dealing with the kitchen purchase, we are interested in the topic of fairness regarding the prices asked.
We have so far experienced that a 25-50% discount was indeed given on the initially asked prices.

To get a feeling for what is a reasonable price for a kitchen and not "how much discount do I have to negotiate," I would simply be interested in a list of your kitchen purchases:

I hope to provide help to all readers through this discussion, based on experiences, and thus lead to a fair interaction in the kitchen studio, without either side having to feel "fooled."

We are currently at Küchenaktuell - but in Rahlstedt. Just like at Möbel Kraft in Buchholz - so that we can compare.

We are just so unsure about the prices because you hear so many different things and honestly I have no feeling for what a fair price would be.

And of course we already have a limit.

Ignore the supposed promotions and discounts completely and focus only on the final price. A kitchen for €20k with a supposed 77% discount is not a better deal than one for €18k with a 20% discount. The final price is the only thing that matters.

I am with you on that . But which final price is realistic? How do I find that out in advance?

The amount you are willing to pay. Plan the kitchen at Ikea and then see which materials, features from other brands are worth the extra cost. Apart from Ikea, I have not compared prices. I got an offer at the kitchen studio, slept on it for one night, and then accepted it. But I also don’t wake up at night wondering if I might have paid too much. [emoji3]
