We were at around 440,000 including the land
The land was 80,000 €, just like with you
170 sqm
with medium-quality fittings. Underfloor heating, electric shutters, masonry fireplace, etc.

In what hole is there still something like this? Radioactive? You can't build anymore for these prices, not for years.

So we will end up at around 360-370k including everything (also the plot). Only the outdoor area won't be completely finished then... but largely. We are building 150sqm + approx. 16sqm usable space in central Hesse in a very nice area (not contaminated by radiation or similar).

We spent a total of 285 thousand including surveying, garden and lawn, driveway etc., of which 71 was for the plot, we moved in 9-2017, construction contract 9-2016. The fittings are partly basic, but partly also above. Garage included. Stairs and stairwell instead of a floor hatch, walk-in shower, pleated blinds all around, glass fiber on walls in partial areas, extensive planting. Everything else remained simple, windows white, front door white plastic with glass insert. Only one patio door, but side entrance door.

@ Steffen80: Nordlys and you are basically the upper and lower limits of what is called the financial framework here - note: the internet is free everyone can write whatever they want. But Nordlys’ saving experiences seem quite plausible to me. He somehow has something to do with real estate professionally; you just know a lot of people there. And it seems to work for him - but it’s certainly not everyone’s way. In my opinion, it is much harder to consistently save during construction than to consistently blow the money (if you have it). And under 400 K today, in view of the insanely rising prices for building land and construction services in recent years, has surely become difficult and without measurable own contributions probably hardly feasible in most areas (except McPomm away from the coast and various economically weak areas mainly in East Germany).
