However, I have to say that I generally can't quite understand some price calculations in the forum. As I said, it's clear that there are 1000 factors involved in building a house and the costs have exploded in recent years. But still, I don't understand why half a million is needed for "single-family house-better standard-RLP-province" and for "just" 100,000 more others in BW or BY get luxury with all the bells and whistles??? It's just MY impression. As I said, I am grateful for all advice, it's not about not wanting to accept it. But the distribution seems a bit strange to me???

No one in BW and BY will build luxury with all the bells and whistles for 600,000!

That’s also a bit like comparing apples and oranges. But whatever... whether it’s comprehensible or not. There are regional differences. That doesn’t mean, though, that for comparable things it’s double or half.
It doesn’t mean it can’t be cheaper than the calculations here either. Experience shows, however, that it mostly tends to be in that direction (or even above).

We built some luxury with a few bells and whistles in the East. Current costs: 1.2 million and still not finished. This year another approx. 100k will go into the garden and photovoltaic system.

Where do I have to sign? We're at 900k for everything and I wouldn't call the equipment luxury. Kitchen, furnishings, lamps, etc. are still on top of that. We also have to take care of some of the outdoor facilities ourselves, Gala only does the driveway up to the house entrance (about 50 sqm)...
