Is new construction under 400k€ still actually possible?

Just in case this is a misunderstanding, in the previous post I mentioned the total price of 900k. Only the plot with additional costs was around 280k. Benztown though, here it can be three times as expensive...

Thanks for the info, I had missed that! For us, it's the other way around: more expensive plot, the house should be cheaper.

Why should anyone lie about that? In the north, it’s simply cheaper to build anyway, and since 2016 prices have gone up significantly again. The same would now probably be at least 250-300k + land. It would still be very cheap, but then it’s also the north.

I really meant it just as written: people like Nordlys prove that it is still possible to be economical and how it can get more and more expensive during the construction phase I have experienced myself with us. And yes: the internet is free in this regard; everyone could present their finances with their BV here however they want. For whatever reason. That's not wrong, is it?

We ended up under 400k with the land but without the exterior facilities. However, in a rural area. The equipment is in the mid to upper range - with about 170sqm of living space + double garage. (Without a basement, but with an attic as storage space) This is certainly possible with good planning and own contribution, perhaps even under 300k.
