Finance the land or pay in cash?

It's really crazy that we pay as much for the house + land as you do just for the land. If you include the already purchased land in the financing as equity, it will of course be taken into account in the lending value. I just think the calculator can't process that. It would of course be clever to structure the financing so that you stay below the 60% limit.

It must be an error in the system. Because equity is equity, no matter in what form it is contributed.

For money or property I would say yes, but with estimated personal contribution I think the equity share is evaluated more critically - or not?

So we declared 50k of own contribution and this was considered as equity. (ING) I also had offers where the bank wanted journeyman certificates of the helpers from 10% own contribution.
