Considering the current political intentions, yes, it will, and noticeably so. Please do not assume household electricity but look at heat pump electricity. Whether all of this will happen remains to be seen.

Heat pump tariff is around ~ 23 cents.

All studies I have read so far assume an increase in electricity prices.

That is also logical as consumption will increase.

The logic only holds if one assumes a (too) tight supply.
I actually read about a massive oversupply and Germany currently also has a high export surplus.

By the way, the gas that goes into the house can also go into the gas turbine. That is the beauty of electricity; it can be generated from many sources, from oil to wind power. The producers therefore compete. I think that’s good.
What has continuously become more expensive are the charges, not the production costs. The Renewable Energy Sources Act surcharge and transit costs are rising due to the energy transition.

Heating costs in a new building are completely irrelevant anyway.. why make a fuss or even think about it? One could rather complain about the costs of the vacation, which increase every year by the annual heating costs.

Basically correct.
It probably depends on the amount of the total investment and the period of use.
You want to do everything right and perfect.

It's like with tiles, months of planning go into it and after 5 years, everything is considered ugly due to changed tastes.

Do you know the difference between consumption and investment?

We are also not in the expensive holiday forum here. That’s why we are discussing this.
