Of course, there are the wildest constellations. You can build it one way or another. Usually, the ST is just a token solar system, meaning only as big and with as much hydraulics as necessary to comply with the energy saving ordinance. Then usually only for hot water preparation.
It also makes little sense to use ST for heating, because when you need it there is no sun, and when the sun is abundant you don’t need heating. It is further complicated by the fact that the ST easily heats the water up to 70°-80°, but for underfloor heating you only need about 30°. This then requires safety groups and mixers... which in the end causes higher operating costs and means additional investment. Not to mention the extra space required, i.e. more m² in the HAR. Two storage tanks are not necessary.
I see it somewhat differently than nordanney. You don’t only have an abundance of hot water in summer but about 3/4 of the year, and in summer you can even run the pool “for free” with hot water if it is needed or desired.
