But this way, each unit has its own task. They "coordinate" with each other, so you always get a consistent and desired temperature and air quality, summer and winter, at more or less favorable operating and investment costs.

Evaporators can be inside the most diverse housings. Some manufacturers even grandly call these: feel-good climate heating. But it's the same thing inside, just packaged differently.

A common air-to-water heat pump is nothing more than a "split air conditioner" which heats the water in the underfloor heating by extracting energy from the ground, groundwater, or air and then transfers it to the other side of the system with the help of a medium (usually a refrigerant, e.g. R32).

That's exactly what the well-known air conditioner does... by extracting heat from the air inside the house and then releasing it to the outside air through the outdoor unit.

You could simply have written I have a split air conditioner running instead of giving the impression here that you had come up with a great special solution.
