Hello forum community

Unfortunately, I noticed too late when writing that I posted the message under the wrong category,

Of course, it was specially sealed for us as well. There are no dirty joints or water stains. We don’t have anything to do with lime scale and stains here because we have very soft water.

The cover of the drain channel is removable. In the middle, in front of the flat siphon, there is a sieve that works just like the standard drains in the standard tubs with standpipe.

We have been using it for about 7 months now and are satisfied. If anything had been done incorrectly, we would certainly have noticed by now. Water damage is usually quite visible quickly.

I consider the argument about more difficult sealing due to underfloor heating to be complete nonsense. Of course, when tiling a shower, careful sealing must generally be paid attention to, but that should actually not need to be mentioned separately. In any case, I always find it very pleasant when the floor is already warm upon entering the shower – and not only after a minute of water running.

By the way, there is also the possibility of heating a bathtub from underneath. I think that is really great too.

We have it the same way in the guest bathroom. That is to say, trench drain and underfloor heating. What can I say, I use the shower in the guest bathroom at least as often as the one upstairs, with the shower tray. Pleasantly warm on the feet. So far, no water damage either.

: Heated bathtub? Do you have that? Our tub will lie in such a Styrofoam holder, underneath there isn't even underfloor heating installed, although it wouldn't be able to transfer the heat upwards through the Styrofoam anyway. I would be interested to know how the tub is heated for you.
