The door opening outward could not be done otherwise. Due to the dimensions of the hallway and the staircase, the door could not be properly opened inward or it would be very tight with an inward-opening door.

Beautiful house, great grounds around it. I thought it was in England. Nice to see something different, everything very lovingly decorated. Congratulations!

I also find it very nice. Something completely different from the 0815 house that you usually see here.

Very refreshing for the eye, not the usual sameness. I like it very much, although I might have done a few things differently. A bit more roof overhang might suit the house quite well, but that's just a feeling. For the base, I might have made the gray a bit darker to make the facade a bit more exciting. Or picked up the bricks of the gateposts in the base. Unfortunately, the gable facing the street can't compete with the great main view. Due to the narrow windows, it looks unharmonious. A small round or triangular window for the attic might have livened it up. Overall, though, a dream house. Well done.

Thank you very much for your feedback! The facade color was specified by the monument authority. Actually, we were not allowed to colorwise differentiate the facade stucco since a uniform facade color was mandated. I would have preferred to design the street gable symmetrically in terms of the window layout as well. Unfortunately, it was not possible due to space constraints, as the related space is occupied by a guest WC and utility room with their partition wall. And in the utility room, we also needed the entire wall to position the technical equipment there. Alternatively, we would have had to build bigger again. But as I said, we didn’t want to exceed a certain budget or a certain monthly rate.

Good that you decided against the specifications. Well, sometimes you just have to take it as it comes. Will you still paint the carport to give it more ensemble character? The more I look at the pictures, the more ideas come to me. (just brainstorming, no criticism) Extend the roof ventilation further up and design it like a chimney. That would fit perfectly with the old building charm. Hang the TV on the wall. It looks so unfinished and like after a move ;-)
