And which of you women works so that she has to carve out free time for these things, or who has free time during the day to indulge only in fragrant lavender and shabby chic furniture? Mind you; Josnna Gaines doesn't do anything herself either, except decorating ;)

ah thanks now I don’t feel so bad why my country house doesn’t look as perfect as on HGTV

It would too. Just let an HGTV team go through your house. I only suspect that after 6 months most of the decorations are missing. It's simply impractical. Quickly dusting the cabinet isn't possible; first, 10 different decorative items have to be moved. The sofa cushions just end up in a corner, etc. Without decorations, the furnishings look incomplete.

Dusting is overrated anyway.

and the great setups on HGTV are unfortunately quite unrealistic. Never a TV, fundamentally too few cabinets and thus storage space and so on.

In the USA, built-in wall cabinets are common and with the huge floor plans there are usually TV rooms, mud rooms, etc. That’s why it’s a bit absurd when home builders try to squeeze the HGTV aesthetic into German floor plans.
