Excuse me?

Is one not allowed to express their opinion here?
…a perfectly normal statement that one doesn’t have to react snippily to.

I like it when light is exciting and a room is not fully lit, like a [Pornoset] or [Gewächshaus]. But every Jeck is different.

We are talking here about a very individually tailored object for the builder that must not be forgotten. Anyone who looks at the pictures can decide for themselves whether it is too dark or not. I feel the same as YPG. Let's take it as an example of how different personal perception is.

Then you will also be able to answer my question normally in the post afterwards, right?

because someone wrote, he doesn't like to stand right in the living room

when you enter our front door, it looks like this. To the right in front of the wall is the bedroom with ensuite and dressing room, to the left is a living room, so to speak, the good parlor. To the right behind the short wall is a dining table.

And behind the walls on the left is the kitchen and further back another dining table, my very old, round one, and behind the carpet wall a seating area. On this side it then goes to 3 bedrooms, bathroom, utility room. But we enter the house through the kitchen via the terrace door.

That can also be phrased more politely or neutrally. Somehow it reads like "you better".
Next time please address directly "@ypg" and then a direct question will also work.

The floor plan is not up for debate. It’s just not "my" house. Personally, I don’t like windowsills and grids in the panes. But here it fits the house and the OP’s wishes. And if he is satisfied and shows his villa here, then he is also prepared for controversy.
If it were my house, rented or something, I would furnish it brighter, yes. Since I personally have far more windows in the dining area in our house, you can then counter with somewhat darker furniture. Dark furniture absorbs light. Light colors reflect it.
I would always try to optimize a room according to its use—regardless of furniture style. Stylish furniture also exists in light colors, and mirrors do the rest.
The living space looks more harmonious.
