Have a controlled residential ventilation system installed and you will immediately get rid of many smaller and bigger concerns. Even a utility room with controlled residential ventilation and without windows has been working here for almost 10 years without problems.

Phew, with the shopping from the car to the pantry, you’re going to be busy for a while.

Right, but I don't think it's such a big deal. Alternatively, we could put a T30 door from the utility room to the garage -> risk of burglary, and the garage should not be attached to the house wall after all, but walled on every side (house and garage each as separate buildings). Another alternative would be to put a door from the hallway to the pantry. However, we want a "hidden pantry," accessible through the kitchen cabinets. For these reasons, walking would be the only option :)

Is it possible to combine such a controlled residential ventilation system with an air conditioning unit? The living room, children's room, and bedroom should have air conditioning.

Combine in the sense that the controlled residential ventilation brings the cold air? If we stick to commercial air conditioners and a commercial controlled residential ventilation system: definitely not. The amount of moved air is not nearly sufficient. Therefore, the classic approach is to use split systems. Normal controlled residential ventilation and normal split air conditioners work well side by side.

Of course, you can also install industrial cooling systems in a single-family house. But I only know one person here in the forum who did that, and he just did it properly.

As Untergasse says, yes of course you can run a controlled residential ventilation system and an air conditioning unit side by side perfectly. That means each device operates independently. In a typical single-family house, this is completely sufficient.

A combination of both tends to lean towards commercial systems/building systems technology and is usually not installed in single-family houses.

Or of course yes, in the USA such things are common, but there heating is also done through the air. However, this is generally uneconomical here.
