Beautiful, exactly my taste :)

I think 90% of new buildings are tasteless/loveless and at the latest in 20-30 years people will regret the current building style. However, your house is timeless

Really a great house! I would move in immediately. :)

What I really like is the design that fits everything on a fairly small area. I'm not a fan of big houses because I've never come across one that is cozy.

The style is great. I would decorate differently, but I still like it from the inside as well.
Thank you for presenting the house here. :)

That looks really good. Give the carport some color. Do you have a building gap or was something demolished because the monument office got involved?

Yes, the carport will still be painted ivory; the paint has been there since June. We just haven’t gotten around to it yet.

I don't like TVs that hang on the wall. Actually, there were supposed to be large matching oil paintings on the wall, which we haven't found yet. But now the TV should be on a classic TV stand and also a matching Louis Seize dresser on this wall. The beautiful old hi-fi system will be sold. Somehow new furnishing ideas keep coming up or it takes time until the right piece is found.

The carport is still to be painted, the paint is already there. The wisteria is also growing quite well and is supposed to green the carport gable. The property is located within the inner heritage protection area and the property itself has been declared a monument. It was undeveloped when we bought it as a bargain (15,000 € for 680 sqm). The property was divided around 1990. The other part at some point belonged to the parents-in-law with a house from 1890 on it, which is partially rented out. The other sold plot was by chance (unplanned) bought back and developed by us. Both properties have about 1,500 sqm and are now designed as one continuous property/garden.

As you know by now, we jumped as tigers and landed as doormats, ;-) (I like this quote so much, I'll use it more often), but aside from that you are right. Maybe I can still pick up one or the other detail. :)
