CURRENTLY there are 6 doors. Most people manage with just one there. Accordingly, even the dreamed 4 doors can be considered a huge effort.

I drew something. - Hope you can roughly understand what is meant.
What do you think?
The background of the doors is also the design of the laundry room as an ironing and storage room for cleaning supplies etc.
The laundry room is thus heated, while the storage room can remain cool because supplies and drinks are stored there, etc.
This way, the main heating circuit stays in the house, while outbuildings and the garage remain "cold".

Pie in the sky, because the technology is also in the outbuilding.
The change will have effects on the upper floor.
Washing and drying... hanging laundry outside will turn into a marathon.

Cabinets should be sufficient for that.

Do you actually iron in a room like that?

Within the thermal dynamics, you can hardly get a room really cold. And after all, you still have the technical installations in the extension...

... with the heating... I think you are getting yourself lost in something that won’t turn out the way you think.

In what way? I find that hard to imagine...
I thought that the staircase on the upper floor would simply be mirrored and the area currently to the left of the staircase would move to the right. Or am I making a mistake?

Whether it will be like that later, we will see then.
At the moment my girlfriend thinks she wants a fully equipped laundry and ironing room... Instagram says hello.

So, regarding the heating, it should be mentioned that not an air heat pump but a gas heating system with solar thermal energy will be installed. Whether that makes a difference to your statement, I don’t know.
