I think overall the other advantages are more important to me. We don't really have that many supplies that absolutely need to be stored extremely cold. There is a refrigerator available for drinks, and a wine cooler with 2-zone cooling could be purchased for wine lovers. For vegetables that need to be stored cool, another solution would have to be found or the purchase sizes kept small.
