Our electrician said it is now mandatory anyway. In our case, all concealed sockets in the kitchen have received a separate supply line. By the way, we deliberately refrained from sockets on the windows. Most decorations today come with LED and battery compartments.

I also consider that a fad; the cost/benefit factor is zero.

It's also a matter of personal opinion. For me, KNX is not convincing when it comes to the cost-benefit factor. But good Christmas decorations (Ore Mountain art, not the cheap plastic and battery stuff) use 230V, and for those who like that, the socket in the reveal is worth every euro.

Apart from that, standby consumption is also not relevant in my view, you can have reservations about the energy transition, and nuclear power plants are safe, clean, and up to date. What bothers me is another bad habit in some new residential areas: proud homeowners install 4 to 12 up-down exterior lights on the facade and leave them on all night long. This "light pollution" is a serious issue and really harmful to humans and animals.

The router will be placed in the utility room, where I can also run all the cables together.

Yeah, a socket in the reveal probably doesn't look very nice =) .
But I dream of having one of those American-style house lights that sync with music later on
It does cost a lot of electricity, which brings me back to the topic, but for the few weeks, it would be worth it to me

And I think I need more than just one socket at the window for that.

What do you generally think about the idea of placing a socket outside under the roof, for Christmas decorations on the roof?

If you plan Christmas decorations on the roof, that probably wouldn't be a bad idea.

So regarding fuses, I can already tell you what is included as standard, I just spoke with the electrician again and told him that we do not want any telephone sockets. The oven is not individually fused, but it can be. ... Isn't the cooktop more important anyway?

Included is:
Meter complete cabinet:
1 meter slot, 15 single-pole circuit breakers, 1 three-pole circuit breaker, 2 RCDs, 1 SLS switch, 1 doorbell transformer.

Little?
