With fiber optic, Telekom installs the modem next to the house connection, which requires power. Heating, I meant the heating system in the HAR. It needs power.

To save 8 euros per outlet? I would use the time differently.

Under the stairs: even if it doesn’t become a well, then maybe a small chest of drawers where a small lamp wants power.

Bedroom: hmm, you have to decide if you charge your phones there. You’re supposed to avoid phones at bed height, but which healthy person cares? I would put them down low. The cable is long enough to reach a nightstand.

There are now these USB sockets... unfortunately we don’t have them, they would have fit well in our tech charging corner.
The problem is: after moving in, you look for the right spot to charge. You can’t really plan that, unless you live strictly by plan.
For us, a socket was installed at the window instead of below the outside light switch: now there is a sideboard next to it, and we use it to charge with these flat double plugs. The plan was to charge the tech in the office, but try explaining that to a man or woman who is constantly hanging out in a construction forum.

Regards, Yvonne

Then it was firstly poorly planned from the beginning if the furniture ends up standing differently, and secondly, in my opinion, you can always remove the sockets and plaster over them. The other way around is rather not possible.

With us, everything is always on standby too, what is this nonsense? Standby consumption for new devices since 2013: 0.5 to 1.0 watts maximum. Before that, it was 2.0 watts maximum.

And because everyone thinks like that and every little bit counts, there are still active nuclear power plants.

Man, it’s not about personal household costs, it’s about a qualitative and worth-preserving Earth.
The fact that there are more and more renewable energies now is not thanks to you, but to the generation of your parents. They surely appreciate this selfish attitude towards their descendants.
