Then a triple outlet with a switch on the ground floor

And also make sure to have a staple strip along the gable

What I still find sensible: We have secured the freezer in the utility room with its own RCD/MCB. Reason: In case the RCD trips during a longer absence, at least the freezer still has power.

That sounds pretty contrived.

Why?
We simulate presence during an absence, so quite a few consumers are active when we are not there. Therefore, I consider it realistic that a defect or something similar might trip the RCD.

I should probably also mention that we are absent for about 80-100 days a year.

I can't remember at all when a fuse or circuit breaker has ever tripped at our place. The stove must be individually fused, the oven should be as well. Modern devices hardly draw 1kW during normal operation, but they are still rated at 3.6kW.

KNX is not the topic here.

Well, rather outside and not inside at the window.

I now have three in the roof overhang. So I find that quite useful... if you don’t need kilometers of cables and also no multiple adapters at the few outdoor sockets.

Only if both are separated from each other. Because usually, the oven and the stove are above each other... then you only have one connection for both.
