Regarding the socket for under the roof, does it have to be a special waterproof socket or why does the electrician charge much more for that than for an indoor one?

IP 44 is sufficient under the roof overhang. Costs 2.50 in the store, with a cover and made of good plastic, Chinese ones are already available for about a euro. Karsten
