From this point of view, most people usually still work with power strips.
I have 9 sockets on the "Hi-Fi wall" because I hate multiple power strips - am I out now :'(It's like with the sockets behind the TV. There are "never" enough when you have many devices, and 8-way power strip cascades like in the 90s are first of all pretty much out and secondly not exactly very nice to look at when the furniture is later moved elsewhere. That's why most people still tend to work with multiple power strips.
Warning, here comes the note that this is even easier with smart home.
