It's like the power outlets behind the TV. There are "never" enough when you have many devices, and 8-socket power strips like in the 90s are firstly pretty outdated and secondly not exactly pleasant to look at when the furniture is moved elsewhere later. For that reason, most people usually work with multi-socket power strips.

For example, also because a socket can be switched quite well.
A switchable socket -> many devices on/off

I have 9 sockets on the "Hi-Fi wall" because I hate multiple power strips - am I out now :'(

Do you turn off all devices in the evening?

Or do you leave everything on standby because electricity costs are currently really overrated?
