Hello kbt09,

So I’ll have to take a look at the stairs then and was told 16 steps are comfortable. We’re not familiar with the numbers, we will write it down on the note for the next appointment.

The fireplace will be checked by the chimney sweep.

Windows downstairs were chosen because of the view into the WC and the living room.

Technology-averse = storage room

The rise of the staircase with 19cm to the tread depth of 24cm is basement staircase level from the 50s (estimated). The rise should not exceed 16 cm, the tread can be comfortably 26cm for easy stepping.

Hello YPG,

We changed to a parapet window in the dressing room because e We first had it with the door in front but then changed it because of the walkway, otherwise you would always have to walk around the door.

The staircase is a great hint! We will discuss it again and see what can be done.

In any case, the pipe must be specially encased and cleaning openings must be present.

We have about 1.50 m of flue pipe running along a wall in the utility room to the fireplace. Cost around 500 euros. The 150mm pipe is packed into a roughly 30x30cm box with special insulation and made of special panels. This will then be integrated into our shelving system.

You can calculate the costs for your project accordingly. I don't even want to talk about the appearance of such a box in the living area.

The standard rise is 18 cm. Wasn't there a discussion about this recently?

16, 26? But that doesn't fulfill any rules at all. 17, 29 is probably mathematically quite ideal. Viebrockhaus and others sometimes even have a 20.5 cm rise – with a great carpet on top, we've even measured 21 cm. In the end, it also depends a bit on the size of the residents, etc. pp.
