The house turns its back on the sunny southwest side! Why?

Mh I can't follow right now. We mirrored the whole thing on purpose, garage from southeast to northwest so that the southeast and southwest sides can be used better.

The garage fits well, the kitchen/dining(/living) area has no sun from early afternoon onwards. However, in the mornings one is usually not at home... I would move the house and the garage further back, and place the entrance on the garage side.

You won’t really be able to make proper use of the southwest .. the sidewalk is already there after 3m. Finding the right location is really difficult. I solved it with a long driveway in my version 3, so the house can be pushed more towards the northeast.

98 cm in the raw construction measurement at the top of the stairs quickly become 95 cm or less in reality ... Then you also have to add railings on both sides of the stairs to prevent falling. Although in version 3, the stair exit also became quite tight.

Good morning,

So there are 2 drafts from different companies and also the rooms are somewhat different.
A masonry parapet will be around the stairs and to the attic with a railing.

We simply want to use the property towards the back since there is a large open space until the next house.

Our current house has the same orientation as the draft before the mirroring and we are completely satisfied with that. We are absolutely not sun worshippers and we do not need this heat in the rooms during summer either. The big girls would like rooms with sun and they will get them.

It is true that no one is there on weekday mornings but on weekends when everyone is together, breakfast can be had on a sunny terrace and in the afternoon you can have sun in the living room, and I think the other rooms are not dark.

An entrance to the house belongs to the front for us, we simply don’t like it on the side.

So many factors play a role in such a house, I think you cannot have everything and have to decide what is more important for yourself.

Is the zigzag in the parent area really intended? I would move the bathtub upwards and make the entrance to the bathroom opposite the passage to the bedroom; this way, the whole thing is more harmonious and easier to move through. I would also find a door from the hallway directly into the living room practical, so you don't always have to take the long way through the dining room and kitchen. The wardrobe will be dark and cramped. The chimney flue in the children's room also works well. They will surely appreciate the room divider.
