I really still don't understand: you have been afraid for a year that the case that has just occurred would happen, because:

but you do nothing for a year, despite the numerous tips and suggestions here in the thread on how it could still be prevented. Now, at the last minute, you again do nothing because

How often did you visit grandma in the last year? Once, twice?

I'm sorry to hear something like that.

I would also use the initial consultation with a lawyer, if only because of this dubious guy.

We were only at her place two weeks ago. She is doing quite well. The doctor said her legs are better now than before - they straightened them right away. She really walks better - my grandma is a miracle.

Yes, it is more important to me that Grandma is happy. My sister wanted to get legal advice. I'll ask her what came of it.

I do feel a bit sorry about the house - but that's just sentimental nonsense - almost all the value is in the land - but that much more.

I'm glad, anyway, that Grandma is doing pretty well in the home.

Almost a pity - because in the case of care-related nursing home costs not covered by personal funds, the social welfare agency also asks what was gifted or almost gifted in the ten years prior.

Not that your aunt's partner once organized coffee trips.

Wish your grandma all the best!

Best regards
