What just occurred to me: the house must have been transferred to your aunt at the notary. But nothing was agreed upon that she is not allowed to sell it or anything, right?

Edit: gifts can also be revoked, e.g. in case of gross ingratitude.

Bad. I do think that you can undo the transfer with lawyers. For example, it is enough if she was not legally competent at the time of the transfer. The opposing side could argue with a "lucid moment." Whatever a lawyer tries, your grandma will be heavily involved. Will she survive this? How does she want to proceed from here?

I don't think we need to undo anything now. If my grandma were to die within the next 10 years, the house would, as far as I know, count as part of the inheritance and the aunt would have to pay us out.

Since I am very attached to the house, I would be interested to know if a sale could even be reversed then?

Almost, the house only counts proportionally, 10% less each year.

We do not know that so far.

Oh, I didn’t know that either. That would really go against my grandma’s wishes. Well, that’s why I’m arguing now, while my grandma is still alive – I think she would die from it. ops:
