Hello Hanghaus2023,

could it be that you only registered here to have a little "fun" and to post pointless comments?
You have been active for 6 days now, commenting on all kinds of posts, but nothing of substance comes across.
I don’t even want to address the other posts, but just in ours I notice that you don’t give any answers that suggest expertise.

You say we mix styles, but when asked for clarification, nothing comes, instead you recommend positioning the house differently on the
plot, but you don’t say how.
Then you don’t like our "Minigarage" - which is at least 48m² - in the house and suggest building an external 7x7m garage, so 49m²?
You don’t like the garage door with 4m width, so what do you suggest, a double wing door 2x2m and pushing the car in vertically?
You say the floor plan looks much better, than what, my neighbor’s doghouse? You weren’t even active here at the initial post and if you say it looks better, what are you referring to?

And waiting for architect plans, what do you expect from that if the in-house garage is set as a requirement by us.

We have also only been active here for a few weeks and if I can contribute professionally somewhere I will do so,
but it’s far from me to comment on every post pointlessly, this forum does not deserve that.
Have a look at yourself, if you really want to give factual and professional help, do it, but please not like this.

As far as I know, he has been around for a few years. Anyone who contributes to the forum knows that unfortunately you sometimes have to register again here. It may be that at the moment he is not the wittiest with his wording.

Aside from that, it does not matter how long someone has been here. An opinion is an opinion. It does not become more correct the longer you have been in the forum. However, one develops greater experience and a broader knowledge base the more one reads and engages with posts.

I also do not see a garage door as an eyecatcher and centerpiece of a house.

Hello , thank you for letting us be part of your project.

Sorry. But of course, I was referring to your first draft. I have read all the posts and of course, I enjoy contributing something here. Actually, I especially like to focus on properties with slopes. But I don’t really see a slope in this project. Therefore, my suggestion is to bring the garage up to the level of the residential floor.

A garage where maybe 2 cars are to be parked is simply very tight with 5 m. The driveway with 4 m as well. You can believe me or not.

Regarding the floor plans, I’ll say nothing for now; there are people here who can do that much better than me.

You can form your own opinion about the mix of styles. You know my opinion anyway.

I generally prefer to keep it short and concise.

Post the height plan from the surveyor here. Maybe then I’ll really think about your project.

I wish you lots of fun here.

See you later.

A driveway can really make an impression. But certainly not this one.

Anyone who specifies 2 parking spaces in front must expect to be taken seriously. I wouldn’t want to park 2 cars at your place either. A central garage in the house is also a noise factor not to be underestimated. Gate open, gate close, car in, car out. The walls can never be thick enough to prevent hearing that. That would simply be too close for me.
Regarding the design:
I now see 4 WCs for 2 people. Yes, one of them is in the granny flat, but that stays empty for now, if I understood that correctly. They all have to be cleaned when used. I find that quite exaggerated and poorly planned.
Furthermore, I would try to straighten the exterior walls. These tiny forward or backward offsets provide little to no added value but cause unnecessarily high costs.
What exactly are the windows in the basement below the terrain supposed to look like? Do you want to draw a moat around the fortress?
Overall, a lot of house with plenty of pointless space for 2 people. I’m around a similar age myself and would radically shrink my house to the essentials if I were building a new one.

Hello

I would also plan it rather small but fine. Then place great value on the interior design.

Let's wait for the architect and/or more input.

Best regards
