I didn't say anything anymore?! :D
However: You are in a discussion forum ;)

So I say: in principle, I have nothing against granny flats, wellness areas, or workshops, as long as the main house/apartment also gets a backup room. Because what I rather criticize is... that there is only one bedroom down the hall and nothing else.

Demand planning is important. Especially when it comes to budget, maintenance… Whether 120m2 for two people or 300m2 or more is a matter of opinion. Better smaller, well planned and well equipped than large and lined up.

Surely there is also a separate post for your house, could you please give us the link to it?
Using the search function takes forever...

That’s not entirely correct, you questioned the granny flat in #97.
That is simply not up for discussion for us; there will be no new build without it.
Otherwise, we agree with you, it is and remains a discussion forum, and that’s exactly what we appreciate – that’s why we ventured here into the lion’s den.

We had rather associated it with this statement. But anyway, we still think it's great how approachable you are with new members, even if there are misunderstandings sometimes. Keep it up, that is what makes the forum.

It's actually a pity, there is no dedicated thread for our house.
We have not made consultations and discussions public. The design evolved with the architect, family, and friends. There are about 20 pictures here, scattered around.
If you come to Berlin, we can show everything and explain our reasons for details ;).
Our original wish, from a bungalow with a hipped roof, was thoroughly revised
